• Download the python script using wget and the link to the script.
• Make the script executable using the command chmod +x serpentine.py. Now, run this script using the command python3 serpentine.py. You get the following prompt.

• Typing b does not give you the flag but instead gives you this;

• So now let’s review the source code.

• Here, you can see that there is a print_flag() function. In order for you to get the flag, you will have to modify what you get when you type b so that this calls the print_flag() function.

• In the above section, replace the print arguments for choice b with a call to the aforementioned function. This section should look like this;

print_flag()

• Now, when you run the script again and type in b, you get the flag.
